Today company 38 started out the morning early with a medical assist for a fall victim. After returning and grabbing some lunch, rescue 38 was dispatched to Enders Road in Fisherville to assist with a working structure fire. Crews assisted with extinguishing of the fire and extensive overhaul. Rescue 38 remained on the scene for about 2 1/2 hours before being released by command. While returning home, Rescue 38 was dispatched to Peter's Mountain Road for a medical assist for an unconscious person. Crews remained on scene and assisted QRS 12 until the arrival of a MICU from company 1. Around 1900 hrs rescue 38 was then dispatched to Red Hill Road for another medical assist for an unconscious person. Rescue was quickly en route with an EMT and a first responder. While en route county advised of a 84 year old male unconscious with shallow breathing. Crews stabilized the the patient until the arrival of a MICU from company 1 and assisted with patient packaging |
