This afternoon company 38 was dispatched to box 29-3 to assist on a mountain fire. Special Unit 38 responded with 4 due to mechanical issues with brush 38. The 38 crew sent the man power to the top of the mountain to assist the other fire departments with the extinguishment of the fire. Prior to 38 arrival, company 29(Halifax),216(Fisherville),23(Wiconisco),19(Carsonville), had a very good knock on the fire and all that was left were a few hot spots. Crews remained on scene for about an hour and made there way back down the mountain. |
