This afternoon Company 38 and surrounding units were dispatched to 300 Schulkill St. for a structure fire. Engine 38 responded and was on scene in less than a minute. The crew found a heavy smoke condition in the home, and investigated to find the source of the fire in the oven. A pizza box was removed from the oven, and extinguished outside. Damage was held to the oven and one slice of what appeared to be pepperoni pizza. |
